Why We Started 2B

2B was founded in 2013 by brothers James and Richard Branton, after several years at global executive search firms.

They’d both built strong track records in tech and financial services — but more importantly, they kept seeing the same issues play out. Slow processes. Generic approaches. And search firms that didn’t match the pace or ambition of the companies they were meant to support.

While clients were trying to scale, enter new markets, and win bigger deals, hiring was often the bottleneck.

So they built something better.

2B was designed specifically for high-growth tech companies — a faster, more precise, and more accountable approach to hiring GTM leaders. Over the past decade, that’s translated into 1,000+ leadership hires across the US and Europe, delivered in weeks rather than months.

Today, 2B partners with venture-backed tech companies from Series A through to IPO, building GTM teams for companies like Adyen, Constructor, Navan, and Checkout.com.
