Senior Business Development Manager

A rapidly growing FinTech company that offer a range of payment processing solutions including ecommerce acquiring, BIN and a prepaid wallet/card is looking to hire a Senior Business Development Manager to help win mew merchants across multiple verticals. They have made several changes to the leadership team and 1 year ago they hired a new CCO and a great Sales Director and between the two they have had a huge impact on revenues, culture and performance. The team is now up to 150 people and they are expanding aggressively and in line with these growth plans they are looking to hire a Senior Business Development Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage new and existing relationships across verticals including Education, Government, Insurance, Lending and Financial Services to achieve revenue goals
  • Manage responses to RFP’s, RFQ’s and RFI’s
  • Identify, qualify and close sales opportunities and strategic relationships
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Create and execute your own account plans with Accurate forecasting of opportunities on a monthly/quarterly basis – including the accurate determination of when the sale will land and the associated likelihood of success
  • Actively engage prospects contacting all inbound prospects driven by marketing activity
  • Attend and represent the company at business events and exhibitions
  • Maintain CRM records, aggressively close deals and finalise contracts, meet/exceed sales quotas and revenue goals
  • Manage the post sales customer experience, actively introducing customer services and relationship management

Requirements:

  • 5 years + selling complex SaaS or payment solutions in Europe across multiple vertical/sectors
  • Ideally already known within the industry, with an excellent reputation you will be well placed to focus on both large and medium enterprise merchants and their supporting platforms
  • History of presenting to and negotiating with Executive-level decision makers
  • Proven ability to understand business and technical requirements of integration to a new merchants’ platform
  • CRM Working knowledge of common business software and
  • Excellent written and oral communication, including formal presentation skills
